



The “Kazakhstan – France 2026” Museology Forum has officially commenced at the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The forum is dedicated to the preservation of historical and cultural heritage, the development of museum practices, innovation, and digital transformation. The event brought together Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Kazakhstan Sylvain Guiaugué, as well as representatives of international organizations. The forum serves as a platform for museum professionals and experts from Kazakhstan, France, Central Asian countries, and the Turkic world to discuss key issues related to cultural heritage preservation, the modernization of museum practices, and the implementation of digital technologies. As part of the forum, PhD Zhandos Boldykov, Director of the Bozok State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve, delivered a presentation entitled “Bozok – Civilization of the Great Steppe,” highlighting the results of research, preservation, and museification efforts related to the medieval settlement of Bozok. Throughout the forum, participants are discussing topics such as 3D documentation, virtual exhibitions, the application of artificial intelligence in museums, and the preservation of intangible cultural heritage.
