This day serves as a symbol of remembrance, honoring innocent victims and reaffirming the importance of preserving national unity and historical memory. As part of this commemorative occasion, the staff of the Bozok State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve visited the ALZHIR Memorial Museum Complex, where a joint professional meeting was held. During the event, specialists from the ALZHIR Museum conducted an extensive tour of the museum exhibitions, providing in-depth insights into the history of political repression and highlighting the significance of valuable artifacts preserved in the museum’s collections. In turn, researchers from the Bozok Museum-Reserve presented information on the history of the ancient Bozok settlement-one of the earliest urban centers in the territory of present-day Astana. They also shared the results of recent archaeological investigations and discussed approaches to the museification of cultural heritage, fostering a productive exchange of professional experience. The meeting between these two major cultural institutions created new opportunities for cooperation, professional collaboration, and joint initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting historical memory.The memory of the innocent victims will live on forever.
