A roundtable discussion titled “Historical Science and Museum Practice: Challenges and Future Opportunities” was held at the Bozok State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.

On April 25, a scientific and educational meeting was held with graduate students of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University at the Kazakhstan Institute of Public Development under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.During the event, participants were introduced to the historical, cultural, and architectural project for the establishment of the Bozok National Park. Special attention was given to the scientific legacy of Kemal Akishev, one of the founders of Kazakhstani archaeology, and his historical role in the study of the Bozok archaeological site.

The meeting also included discussions on the ethnographic dimension of the open-air museum concept, as well as issues related to the revival of traditional culture and horse-related customs and rituals that form an important part of Kazakh heritage. Such meetings serve as an important platform for promoting national cultural heritage, expanding scientific knowledge, and fostering the professional interests of future specialists.
