📋 Requirements for Articles

The editorial board of the scientific journal «BOZOQ» accepts articles from foreign authors as well as scientific papers in Kazakh, Russian, and English for each issue. No more than one manuscript per author (including co-authorship) may be submitted per issue. Articles are accepted for consideration only if they fully comply with all requirements. The editorial board reserves the right to select materials for publication.

Minor edits (stylistic or formal) may be made to the text without the author's consent. Articles requiring substantial revision will be returned to the authors for improvement.

Authors must submit a cover letter when sending a scientific article for publication in the journal (journal@bozok.kz).

Before submitting articles to the editorial office, authors must ensure that they are familiar with the guidelines and fully comply with all publication requirements. The authors bear full responsibility for the content of their articles.

📄 Formatting Requirements

Articles must be submitted electronically in MS Word format (any version), using Times New Roman font, size 14, single spacing, margins – 2 cm, paragraph indent – 1.25 cm.

• Length: not less than 0.5 printed sheets (7–8 pages);
• On the first page, the UDC index should be indicated at the top left;
• On the next line (right-aligned): author's initials and surname, academic degree and position, place of work;
• On the next line in CAPITAL LETTERS: the title of the article;
• Abstract: 180–200 words, provided in Kazakh, Russian, and English;
• Keywords: up to 10 keywords must be indicated;
• The main text of the article should follow after a double space;
• References should be formatted in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 (each source is listed only once; the use of “ibid.” is not allowed);
• Footnotes and references are indicated in square brackets in order of appearance (example: [1, p. 28]);
• Tables, formulas, and figures are allowed and should be placed within the text with proper captions (e.g., Fig. 1. Title; Table 1. Title);
• Illustrative materials (scanned color and black-and-white graphics, diagrams) must be provided in RGB color mode or grayscale TIFF format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi;
• The text must be carefully proofread and edited by the author;
• Author information must be provided in three languages (Kazakh, Russian, English): full name, academic degree, academic title, position, place of work, office and home phone numbers, e-mail.
